Since I can remember, I have wanted to be in this profession helping improve the lives of others. I have worked on this by obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) and Masters’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Rutgers University. I have been in the field of social work for the last six years providing therapy to people from all walks of life. I have the most experience working with young adults and guiding them in processing traumatic events and resolving symptoms brought on by difficult life transitions, trauma, mood, and personality disorders. In the last two years, I have been working with persistent and severe mental illness and guiding persons and their families through navigating the daily difficulties in the mental health world, accepting their diagnosis, and living up to their full potential.

I have foundational training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am trauma-focused and I work with modalities such as the Psychodynamic and Interpersonal approaches, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Strength Based Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and others. I have my SIFI (Seminar in Field Instruction) certificate and I enjoy teaching therapy and skills that help us all navigate today’s world.

I believe that all people can benefit from therapy. Therapy can leave us empowered and better equipped to handle anything. Therapy helps us heal if we need to and grow if we want to. I strive to provide non-judgmental, authentic, compassionate therapy guided by evidence-based practice where we explore challenges both intuitively and based on research. I commend you for taking this step and invite you to reach out to me to see how we can work together to improve your life today.
